I have just replaced my vehicle speed sensor and still getting an error code
vehicle speed sensor circuit. Also the prevoius owner had recently changed
out the speed sensor as well. Any ideas why the code keeps coming back?
MY speedometer speed is correct. When I am driving the code light will come on
sometimes I have vdo gauges.

Tranny?
What speedometer when in it?

84 use a different one from all later.

VSS going to speedo then ECM. If speedo or something in dash block ECM getting a signal then you get code 24.
You say speedo is still reading then VSS is good.

The original Fiero speedo circuit divides the incoming VSS signal by two and then passes it on to the ECM. If you have replaced the speedo with a different one and have not done anything to pass the signal on to the ecm you will get the code.
No idea what others have done but I think dakota digital do some sort of vss signal processor.
