Can i use a head from the rear bank of a junkyard fiero on the front bank of my fiero?

Yes, but make sure you run a M10-1.5 tap through all the accessory mounting holes on the side of the heads to clean out the holes. They will often be full of crud from not being used.

In general, any V-type engine has heads that are interchangeable, saves the manufacturer money.

That is not entirely true once you start looking at the overhead cam engines - the area for the belt/chain drive is often unique to one end of the head.

On a related note, the 3.4 DOHC is the only DOHC engine with symmetrical heads. Thaught that was a neat tidbit.
