I have a 1987 Notch Back 2.5 I am to the point of putting the control arms back on the cradle. The Chilton manual does not say anything about washers or locations of washer on the assembly. I know I took some off but cannot find any reference to them, sizes and where they go on the assembly, can anyone help?

Chilton's is crap. Download the 1986 Service Manual http://www.fieronews.net/fusion/downloads.php

The washer goes under the head of the bolt, and the nuts should be flange nuts (washer nut).
