As the title suggests, I need one. FieroStore doesn't carry them for the v6 and the one I have is frayed at the end and binds when I goose the throttle. Anyone know who carries them or has good used ones? Or a way to fix the fraying?

It will take a while yet but I should have them. Maybe by late fall?

Fiero Store stocks cables for 4 cylinder Auto, but not for the v6. I assume the cable for a 4 cylinder won't work for a six? I'd order one from Rodney once he has them available I suppose, but any thoughts as to what I can do with the fraying for now? I've tried cutting the wires out that are frayed to keep them from binding the cable but they don't seem to help much.

Can I run the car without the kickdown cable for a bit or will the trans not downshift afterwards?

I love this forum

I just got an offer on a good used cable so I guess I'm set. Thanks for the suggestions though.

They have few if any good used ones to sell. Ed has been telling me to look to have these made as good used ones are getting very hard to find now.
