In the local U-pull there is a 3.4 camaro (94). thing is, with all the rain weve had in the last 2 weeks, (someone had pulled the top intake off it) & now it's full to the top with water ! all I really want is the shortblock, do you think it's worth the effort (gamble), ($213) them taking it out ?? real crapshoot, don't know what shape it was in BEFORE getting full of water. Car was NOT wrecked, so WHY it's there is ????? I don't know what a reasonable price IS for a 3.4 that more than likely needs a rebuild. oppinions ?

you can reuse the fiero upper/mid/lower intake, or switch to the full camaro setup. (and have to convert to DIS)

the heads on the fiero/camaro are the same, get the shortblock, clean it up, new bearings, rings, etc, and you should be good to go, unless it has a bent rod or cracked piston or something.... if your feeling brave, new pistons

btw, the camaro intake flows alot nicer if you want to go DIS....

edit: dont forgot you will need to re-drill for the starter, and if you have a manual trans, you will need a neutral balanced (88 fiero) flywheel.

Good news is.... the water is not running out the side of the block
