I am nearly ready to swap a fastback roof on my Formula, and I'm trying to decide whether or not to keep the notchie drip rails (which end at the roof seam at the back edge of the side windows), try to find fastback drip rails, or to just "delete" the drip rails all together.
Anyone have useful experience here? If I simply delete the drip rails, will I have issues other than rain annoying me when driving with a window down a little? Or will this cause other water related issues? Personally, I think it'd look nice without any drip rails at all.
Thanks, Gary

I deleted them when I did the fastback conversion to my blue car. Only issues are on rainy days if you roll the window down you will get dripped on some. If you stop at a drive through or ATM that is not covered you will get dripped on as well.
Not a huge issue for me and they have been deleted since 2001.

Thanks for the post! I'll have to look up some pics of your car now...

After I fixed the A/C in my Fiero, I deleted the drip rails. IMO, if you leave the windows open a lot (like if your A/C doesn't work), then driving in the rain can get pretty annoying with no drip rails.
