I've never installed one but have removed several easily. I have always started at the front lower windsheild end and just peeled them off. Would think doing the reverse should work just as well. Start at the rear and work your way forward. When removing you kind of rotate them toward the center of the car as they come off so would reverse that to put them on.

use a 2 by 4 piece of wood and a ruber mallet. Nice and easy don't rush it. Lay a nice strip of painter's tape on the bottom of the drip rail so you don't damage the fiinish.
