I suppose I will start out with the car. It's a 1984 Fiero SE, that I received with a locked up iron duke mated to an automatic transmission. Someone already stuck I little into the car, so it will look just fine without me having to do any major body work or painting. That will come later, when it runs. So on to some pictures.

I'm down to only two Fieros now, that last picture was taken the day I bought three Fieros from a guy that left a note on my Fiero while I was working. I have since sold the Fiero I used to drive, along with the white one. None of the cars I bought from him ran either.

Then here is a shot of the engine.

Right now I'm trying to get a hold of the parts to actually get the engine running. Long story short, I was suppose to already have all that stuff but the guy never sent it and is not responding to my e-mails and no one answers when I call. A little bump, but that will not prevent me from finishing this.

Figured I'd share a few more pictures. These are of the car in it's current state. I need to put the cradle back under it so I can get it up to my house, it's currently at my mom's. That's a project for this weekend.

Nice.
That's almost an exact twin of mine. Only, mines a manual. I wish the body on mine was as nice as yours, though.

Confusing post... The car is described as an 84, and has an 87/88 nose on it. The engine is described as an iron duke, and the picture shows an Ecotec.

Agreed. The decklid is also the later style.

Sorry about being confusing, it was my intention to put more back-story into it. Guess I got distracted somewhere along the way and didn't read through it before I posted.

It's an '84. The parts mentioned were all switched by one of the previous owner. The seats are not original either, if I remember correctly. I've had the car for about two years now, and I'm excited to finally get started on this project.

The engine pictured is what I'm swapping into the car. 2005 Cobalt SS engine, or the LSJ. I will be installing a lsd, header, balance-shaft delete, dual pass intercooler and probably a few other goodies while I'm at it. Being that I did not receive the entire factory harness, I think I may be going with a standalone. Not sure whether it will be MSD or MS though. MSD sounds tempting being it is plug and play, but I will look into MS a little before I make a decision. I've never really been into doing a bunch of wiring, but maybe it's time to learn.
