Whatever these things are, are missing on my door.

I don't know how to reinstall them, would it be easier to replace the door?

Dude, this picture is making me cringe!!!

Why are you pulling your door panel back like that? The door panel has made of a compressed cardboard and it's NOT supposed to bend like that?!

It's REALLY easy to remove the door panel...

Oh man, this is automobile abuse...

There are three large screws you need to remove, they are all in the door handle. Two on the underside (you'll see the holes) and one in the top of the arm (remove that cap).

Then you remove the black plastic "fiero" logo on the door handle, and the cap inside the door handle, and you can remove the door handle bracket. Then the door panel just pops out and slides forward.

Dude, what on earth made you think it would be a good idea to pull the door panel back like that? I wouldn't even do that to a junkyard Fiero... damn.

Anyway... what would normally go there are felt brackets which hold the window tight so it doesn't rattle around. You can get them used from the Fiero Factory at http://www.TheFieroFactory.com, or you can get new ones from the Fiero Store at http://www.FieroStore.com

I know how to remove the door panel, that was is messed up in several places that you can't see.

So how do you get those felt tips brackets back in - it almost seems from feeling around that the area is sealed off, I could be wrong.

WOW! That photo does kind of hurt a little.

They are a trick to install but it is possible. You will need to remove the door panel the proper way to do this. Not the "is there pickles on this sandwich method"
The parts might be in the bottom of your door. The bolt comes in from the top. It should have a ten mm head on it.

To swap the door would be a bigger PIA. You either have to pull the bolts for the hinges or the hinge pins. The bolts are tough to get to and the pins require dealing with that %^&*$ door spring. You WILL need a tool for it.

you lift them from below,,you place the part in your right hand ,,you lay it in your upper palm resting in the second finger bend,,2 or 3 fingers ..Lift part to position ,,insert bolt with left hand .. when installing a part that is difficult often you can use sewing thread,a piece of wire ..after dropping screws, nut, bolts and having to fish for it, or having to use recon skills to locate ,,I have glued a nut to the inside of a door.. so it would get the bolt to start..
I remember the slot being lower on the door,on my 86Gt but my memory sucks
make sure all the window ,window lift mechanizm ect. are tight no loose bolt, nuts ,rivets, and that the plasic rollers have not broken
check the lower door floor to make sure you are not transporting unauthorized illegal midget aliens hiding in door and creating anoying rattle ,,
must be some fiero,s in bone yard,, or in possession almost friendly fiero owner in cincinatti area,,or emaill above poster
