i know i could e-mail rodney but didnt know if some 1 had directions and pics.
I,ve stripped the cradle of the old bushings, now on the back ones there was a metal
plate if you will that the bushing pushed through. Those came out with the bushing,
is that correct? I thank you all in advance, Ray

This is how we do it. After removing the old bushing, get a small length of pipe like 4" long that is larger than the diameter of the cradle bushings. Now get two 1/4 " steel plates about 3" x 3". Insert the bushing in the cradle hole as far as it will go by hand. Now put the small piece of pipe in back of the the cradle hole where the bushing will exit, and place the steel plates at each end (on on the pipe and the other on the front surface of the bushing. Get a large C Clamp and tighten it to push the bushings into the cradle until they are seated. This tehnique should work when seating any bushing into a control arm or cradle.

Well sure, but it just seems strange you couldn't have initially supplied a link.

Is there something secret I'm unaware of?

Patrick, your first post in here had me laughing for 5 minutes. Thanks. Partly because your post was even less helpful than mine. The secret is I don't want to get banned for linking to the enemy. I'll try to PM the link to you and the OP.

oops, the PMs were mistaken, there's nothing relevant on page 10. Just 2 pics at the end of page 9.

Oh, I doubt that you'd get banned for linking to a helpful thread, but I appreciate the PM. I've got aluminum cradle bushings here to install as well, so your instructions may prove to be helpful. Thanks.
