Has anyone come up with alternative ways to attach the lower mouldings without the original metal "rail" ?

Dont really want an adhesive or "permanent" attachment method because I know the flexible door and rigid mouldings wont stay together long, would still like a bolt or rivet solution for it, or I was thinking of "glueing" some nuts under the lips to bolt to.

You want me to send you just the metal rails for the doors....or are you trying to eliminate them?
