I'm wanting to know if the hood and trunk lid are all the same for the fastbacks? for instance a 1985 hood will fit a 87 gt? and a 86 trunk lid fit an 87 gt? Thanks, finding a slavage yard in NW Pa with a gt anything is just hard. but i want to customize these parts and too scared to ruin my only good set.

IIRC the fastback decklids are all relatively the same design from year to year.
and there should be no discernable difference between any of the front hoods from year to year. notchies included

excellent. lots of notchbacks in this area, but all 84-85's... trunk lid is a different story though. I'll have to do some digging for one of those around here.
