Don't know much about this brand if you do let me know please.

I have a set on my Altima SE R they are ok, but I would rather have something else. They move a lot of water in the rain and stick to the dry pavement well but they get really loud as they wear.

I currently have 2600 miles on my set and haven't picked up on much noise from them but when I go on my mountain runs, they hold really well for non-performance tires. I haven't hydroplaned either.

My brother has a set on his Probe. He probes pretty hard sometimes and the Riken R-apters do just fine for him.

140 for 2 doesn't seem like a really good deal to me. If you want good tires for cheap, go to Americas Tire (OH YEAH!!! hye_4_life knows what i'm talkin' about) and have them price match a set of Genral Altimax HPs with Tire Rack. I have generals on my Fiero and they hold their own on wet and dry.

I avoid foreign made (especially Korean & Chinese) tires at all costs. The compounds used to manufacture them are inferior. A buddy of mine has a set of Kumos on his Fiero and even with tread that looks great the rubber is splitting apart. Bad stuff!!!! Good tires are like a life preserver. You don't want a tire failure at 100MPH.

I will second this one... I have Kumho Ecxta (^sp) Supra tires... they grip OK in the right conditions, but they are rapidly becoming out of round. They have about 16,000 miles on them and are already ready for replacement. I didn't realize they were out of round until I went (in December) to have the cars emissions tested and had to put it on the "treadmill" at the local ADOT DMV for the load check, and the rear end was bouncing. These tires are garbage.

The RIken's are suppose to be manufactured by Michelin, that can't be a bad thing?

I had a CRX Si with Michelin's on it. They were the best tires I ever had on a car. I am currently looking for new tires for the fiero and I am looking at the Michelin's.

I've had poor luck with the Michelins. Expensive and they wear far quicker than Goodyear or Goodrich..

I have 215/45/17 ZR up front $ 85.00 per tire and after 30k they are in need of replacement. The rears are 245/45/17 ZR $105.00 per tire and they only last about 15k due to the softer compound and weight on them. They grip very well excellent wet traction as well as quiet. For the price they are a very good ultra hi performance tire

I got a quote from Discount here in Tucson $381.00 installed lifetime balance and rotation. Don't care about the rotation.
That is decent I feel for these.
Now to get the old tires off the wheels and try to clean up -- strip only the clear off the faces of the wheels and refinish, then get this done.
