Sorry, but Mera A/C compressors have been discontinued...That is why you should sell the car to ME!!

I'd take a look at any of the online parts stores like Rock Auto etc. That should not be a hard part to locate. As far as being converted to R-134 already I don't think so but I could be wrong. Please post some picture of your 88 MERA! (before you sell it to ME!)

Closest thing to OEM in a new compressor is the Delphi CS0105.

I think the sealing washers come with the compressor to adapt the manifold. Any new compressor will be R134a but will also work on R12. There are clones that are cheaper than Delphi.

I think what you need is a Harrison HR6 compressor.

This is out of my 88 Formula:

It is an HR6. The last one I bought for my 86 was a remanned from Autozone and it used the stock O ring setup. The one I installed on my 88 was the new style with sealing washers. It came with various sealing washers and instructions for installing them. If your system has already been converted to R134 then you should be set. Just be sure to add at least 4 oz of PAG oil before you install it in the car.

HR6 is the standard compressor. The DA6 isn't recommended for R134.

Also, you get what you pay for when you buy AC compressors. Go cheap and it will die. Spend the money now, do it right and do it once.

www.ackits.com Their compressors appear to be some of the best rebuilds.
