Can you use the Getrag F23 transmission in our cars with Archies front wheel drive transmission adapters? I was at the salvage yard this morning and found one that someone was nice enough to remove for me already. Thanks

Archie's adapters are for SBC bellhousing, not the ecotec. If someone did make an ecotec adapter, you would be better off with the F35.

I don't know about Archie, but I know that Rodney Dickman sells a kit that would allow you to use that transmission in a Fiero. However, the gearing might not be right for a Fiero engine. What kind of engine was in the car?

My guess would be the base ecotec due to it being a cavalier not a Z-24. What did the F35 come in? Thanks for the help

if it is the base model and not an eco it should have the fiero bolt pattern .an f23 is still a big improvement over any old fiero tranny .f35 need different axles , f23 can use stock fiero axles .

Do you have a link or information? I think you may be mistaken...
