Could someone please tell me where to find the engine ID on the stock V6 engine? The car has been roadworthied but when I take it down to get registered I'm going to need to be able to show proof of the engine ID. If anyone has a picture that would help too

Are you talking about the engine VIN stamping? It's on the edge of the block next to the bellhousing, above the starter, and it's only the last few digits of the VIN for the vehicle. The tranny VIN stamping is next to it on the edge of the tranny bellhousing.
