ya, diff bolt pattern and dont use adapters. Milla Miglia used to make a ZR1 style wheel. Those were the first set I put on my Ferrari kit. I got them from Tire Rack.
i think that looks fugly!!! but thats just me tho teehee. would it be cheaper to get them custom made or modify the hubs? the cheapest price i saw on ebay for the Rims i want were $549 with the buy now section. but that was months ago. i havnt checked latly on the prices. i dont know how much custom rim will cost. i would like to get 17" maybe 18".anything more than that is pushing it for me. its nice to have some sidewalls! not all rim and no rubber. looks goofy.
here are some photos if anyone doesnt know what kind of rim i want. maybe in grey? or all black?

found these on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot...36QQitemZ19027648963 6QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories offset is alot different. its 55mm or something. i dont know what the fiero offset is. i could do custom. but i dont know how much it would cost. it might not be worth it to go custom just for some rims. if i was rich i probably do it. but im not.

thos are purrdy. here are some adapters i found on 1 website. http://adaptitusa.com/index...n=VIEWPROD&ProdID=22 im not to excited in paying $45 per adapter for one wheel. i gotta price out how much custom rim will cost for the right bolt pattern and offset. i might just do a rear coilover to fit more of the tire inside on the wheel. give it awider time. make it look alittle more meaner from behind with some nice wide tires
can someone teach me offset on rims? i got like very low knowledge about it.

Ive personally known a few people that didnt heed warnings and used adapters. There cars are in junkyards right now. I wont even ride in a car with adapters on a freeway. Fine for driving city streets. I had one come off of an older car once when I stopped at a stop sign. Felt a thump and saw my wheel and tire roll across the intersection. Another lost his on a curve on a 2 lane country hiway at 65 mph and a 6 foot drainage ditch on the side. He was right behind me and it wasnt pretty. When I bought one 86 Fiero it had standard Chevy custom rims on it. It took a cutting torch to take the wheels off for a brake job.

so adapters are a no go. that kinda sucks. i dont want an adapter coming off! that would be painful! can you get custom hubs made for the fiero with a different bolt pattern? i guess the easyest thing would be to get custom rims made up.

There are possiblities with adapters that are hub concentric so the wheel cannot move around. But they end up costing more than a custom made wheel anyway. (and I still wont personally use them). I have heard reports of people welding up Fiero hubs stud holes and having a machine shop redrill them for another pattern. Thats also not very cheap.

well i got a replay from the shop down in Victoria, i live in nanaimo, vancouver island, british columbia, Canada. and well this is what they said.
WE CAN POSSIBLY REDRILL THE CORVETTE WHEELS TO A 5-100 AND PROBABLY CAN MAKE THE FRONT AND REAR WHEELS WIDER. THIS PROCESS WILL COST ABOUT $2000.00. LET ME KNOW
im not payng $2000 for a set of rims. screw that. maybe ill just get and swap out some hubs. buy a set of replica rims. there cheaper. i know yhou can get a rim wider or thinner but that costs big bucks. hmmm. not many possible solutions that wont put a huge dent in my wallet!!!

Buy a set of wheels for the stock 5 x 100 pattern, you don't want to pay for the conversion work that I had done (I had a hook up at a machine shop).
And as a side note, I found the 18/19 combo to be a tad too big for a stock-bodied Fiero, so I will be stepping down to stock C5 wheels (17/18 combo) as pictured by sjmaye.

I would scan that thread linked above "Show off your custom rims" and make your own opinion on them. I've seen all wheel sizes on Fieros that look pretty good, even up to the 20"+ on Curly's cars. Just in this case, the 18/19 C6 was a little too big for my tastes.
