Hi,

I believe its possible to replace the stoick ac delco fuel pump with a Bosch 0580 314 070. It rates as 1200cc @ 3.2 bar pressure, will this be suitable. I cant get the ac delco unit as I live in UK.

Looking up the replacement fuel pump for a V6 on the Bosch web site, it lists p/n 69222, a different part number. Don't know if different p/n's are used in other countries. Web link: http://www.boschautoparts.com

Looking at the pump specs. for volume and pressure.
I believe 3.2 bar pressure converts to pounds pressure: 3.2 x 14.7 = 47.04 psi.
The stock V6 pressure is around 40 -42 psi with a pressure regulator.

1200 cc converts to about 40.57 ounces per minute.
Volume for one hour : 40.57 x 60 = 2434.2 ounces, In Gallons : 2434.2 / 128 = 19 Gal. per hour.
I only found one site that list the stock pump flow rate, 16 gallons of fuel per hour.

Does it look like the pump will fit the hose, strainer, and electrical connections ?
