I just swapped in a 2.8 in place of my duke. Everything is hooked up except there are steel vacum hoses that bolt to the fire wall. They are together, one is small the other is larger. I cant remember where they go, but I believe the left side of the large one goes to the air filter canaster and the small one to the right goes to the MAP sensor. Please help. Sorry, I dont know how to download a picture.

I believe the samll tube goes to your egr solenoid on one end and the nipple at the base of your air cleaner on the other. The larger tube connects between the air cleaner housing and the valve cover grommet.

I think I've figured it out now. Appearently, the large tube under the smaller one should go from the air filter canaster to the grommet in the valve cover. But I have an engine that has a metal pipe from the grommet to the rubber air inlet between the throttle body and the air filter. So, I guess the larger tube will not be used, just plugged at the air filter canaster. As for the smaller tube it connects to the egr solinoid and the bottom of the air filter. But, my air filter canaster doesn't have a place to connect it to. Does this sound right?

That pipe you have superscedes the large tube on the firewall, so the one on the firewall needs to be capped off.

As for the connection of the smaller tube to the air filter, there should be a nipple at the base. Literally underneath where the filter sits.
