Has anyone installed these rockers from the fiero store? I'm seriously considering it because i've noticed that at 65MPH +, anything above 50% throttle doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I'm thinking this is because the motor is already breathing as fast as it can, even at only 50% throttle. A little more lift on the valves should fix that up nicely. Has anyone done it?

Yep I ran the Crane 1.6 rockers on both a stock cam and a high lift cam. They work great. More power better throttle overall a great mod. I would make sure and spring for at least roller tip rockers. They will help to save valve guides.

..you'll want to ensure you have upgraded the valve springs too. Since you are now compressing them further. I ran the Crane springs (99848) and twice have had failures, so I would not use them ever again. I currently use Manley small block Chevy springs (22410) and they are great.

I put a set in my 85 GT. It perked it up very nicely. I can't say if I gained anything on the top end though since I'm not a hard core "performance" kind of guy.

I also got them in my fiero, I noticed the difference right away. Mid range torque improved drastically. I dynoed yesterday as a matter of fact and it netted 121whp and 158 wtorque on a Mustang dyno, nice and smooth graphs.

Mods:
Comp Cams 1.6 roller rockers
Hypertech Thermomaster
3" Thrush welded Muffler (cheaper version of a 2 chamber Flowmaster)
3' pipe exiting on pass. side.

I found the rockers at the Fiero Store online, in the V6 section.

Thanks for the spring advice, i will absolutely get stiffer springs when I get these rockers.

DO NOT BUY CRANE. they suck, get Comp Cams. They are so much better built. The crane ones I have seen looked warped, (in person)
just bad quality compared to Comp Cams. I have the Comp Cams 1.6s in mine, I don't know the difference as I have never drivin' it with out them.
