i ordered all new cables from a local parts store and the left rear is not long enough and has a little metal part that will not go through the sub frame hole. they ordered another but it was the same. i threw the old one away bfore i realized the new one fit so i can even compare them now. has anyone else had a problem like this?

I've had the same problem with mine that I picked up from Advance. I just wedged the sucker in there and it works fine.

just put a new left rear cable on my son's car. it was a raybestos cable from murray's discount auto parts. only 13 dollars. works perfect, looks exactly like the old cable.
