Ebrake trouble by serealport

after about a year of saving and work my car is about to sail all i have to do is fix the ebrake and go through inspection =(
right now the e brake is very tight on the driver side and good on the pasenger side even when the cable is loose the driver wheel is stuck

im not sure why but its late and i still have work so i will recheck everything about six tomorrow

You should be able to adjust it at the center where the main cable attaches to the two ends. There should be an adjustment nut to adjust the brake bias from left to right.

Do both of the e-brake cam levers (on the back of the calipers) work easily? When I started fixing my e-brake I had the same problem. Turned out one side was not working; one activated and then would not retract. They should push the piston in and out pretty easily and smoothly.

Do you have the retract springs on the cam levers?

You can test to see if they're working well or not by loosening up the e-brake adjuster all the way and you should be able to move them with your hand. Should pivot about 10 degrees or so before the piston touches the rotor.

i crawled back under the car a minute ago and did a visual then i realised that the spring was missing on the driverside so i but it back and now the ebrake works ok

im really glad that i got this car running again
