'85 SE, the headlights, when turned on the pass side pops up but not the driver side. the driver side motor makes NO Noise(it's not the gear), & I hear no clicking or anything from the relay. what could the problem be?? Thanks

Do yourself a huge favor and dont put anything else into the Gen 1 headlights. Start gathering parts to swap in the Gen 2 lights and you will be trouble free for many years.

right now I just need it to work, I'm not wanting to replace the entire setup.

My car (Gen 1) was doing the same. I ran through all the diagnostics and after dismantling and removing the brush cover on my motor one of the little brushes fell out. So I took it apart and fluxed, tinned and soldered it back on and it has worked great for 4 years.
