thanks.
i'm really not *trying* to be hilarious, maybe i should change my sig to "Kansas city's own village idiot"
i'm making "how-to" videos. but if my personality comes off a bit odd, well, then that's just what you get with a fiero owner.

it's taking forever to upload to youtube right now. probably cause everyone is trying to upload family holiday photos.
i'm gonna give up for the night after the first part of the spark plug video gets done

How to take out the dash and the headliner. Alot of people have asked that in the past.

Look what i've found:

quote
1 remove headliner (i need to do this to my 84)

Oh yea, you should rebuild your 84 distributor. The pickup coil is different from the other years, or do they all come apart the same way?

How about a video on how to fix the fuel level sending unit? That one isn't so hard to read but would be helpful to see everything before your covered in gas and dont want to get on the computer.

It seems vacuum leaks and exhaust manifold problems are common amongst Fiero's, perhaps a video guide is in due order

Good Morning --- how about gauges? Replacing stock with aftermarket - oil / water / tach & speedo. Or how to change the crystal on a speedo-conversion? Finding a 120 (or better) to replace the old 85 mph is getting to be a real challenge. Seeing a pro remove tear into and solder would be very helpfull. Thanks

Headliner, headliner. I'm going to have to do this soon. No idea how to start. I was thinking of putting one of the plastic ones from fiero store in it. I didn't know if they will sqeek or make noise, or if a cloth one would be better.
The install of the new one is what I need to know how to do. I know others have wonderd as well.

you guys are too funny

to clue everyone else in on the joke,
What these guys are talking, I had my waterpump start leaking on my way home from work one night.
No big deal I thought, I’ll just pick one up on the way.
I start taking it apart and 3 small bolts and one large bolt broke.
So while I’m spending the next few hours extracting broken bolts I notice the outer ring on my balancer has slipped and is starting to rub on the front cover.
(you cant make this kind of stuff up I tell ya)

I got the 3 small bolts out, and a used balancer from a friend. So it all worked out after a few days.

i've got the removal part online, i still haven't put it back in the car.
but really installation is just the reverse of removal for the most part.
removing a headliner 1of4 * 2of4 * 3of4 * 4of4

I have the plastic headliner that I covered in vinyl, I am quite happy with the results, though I may put a pad or something behind it as I think it causes some squeaks.

I have a bunch of pictures here: http://gallery.fierodomain....Xanth/new_headliner/

I came late to this thread, but I've seen the Buddycraig video about headlights.

My request is for a video on replacing the TCC solenoid and third gear switch on the (V6) auto transmission. Seems to be a common problem and a job that lots of us have to do. But access and visibility are tricky, especially if you have never messed with an auto box before.

Like many other Fiero owners who are amateur/DIY mechanics with limited knowledge and few specialist tools, I find a how-to picture - especially a moving one! - is often worth a thousand words...

Go to it, Buddy!

I would love to see a video on replacing the door glass.

Heck, and anything else related to fixing stuff in the door.

Thanx & Keep up the good work.

Have just thought of another one...

How about a video on changing/replacing the wheel hubs?

I think I need to change the rears on mine. I believe its possible to do the job on the car (ie without removing/dismantling the knuckle and rear suspension). But I'd like to see someone else do it before I try it myself!
