Just went out to move my 88 Formula. Started up and the red volt light came on and the gauge was down around 10 volts. I shut it off, grabbed my meter, started it again - same thing. I checked the voltage at the battery while it was running - 12.77 volts. Then the idle started to drop then settled at normal 900 - 1000 rpm's. When I went around to check the meter, the light was off and the gauge was up around 13 - 14 volts. Went back to the battery - 14.02 volts. I shut it off and started it a few more time - no problem. Do you think that the alternator is failing?
TIA
