OK, I am going senile. I saw one of Buddy's posts yesterday with an imbedded video on the switch repair. I wanted to bookmark today and can not find it.

Someone help an old man?

Terrific. I would add a dab of dielectric grease to the contacts to reduce wear and corrosion but otherwise a great video!

Definitely use the grease. I rebuilt mine without it and the drivers side is fine, but the passengers side barely works now.

I think the original grease is the same stuff they used in the light sockets. I'm not completely sure. If you can't find that, then dielectric seems to work ok. Make sure whatever grease won't burn. Otherwise you'll be doing this again fairly soon. (If you don't start a fire...) Those contact switch the full motor load and can arc pretty hot. (Notice how heavy the contacts are compared to many other switches in cars.)
