I used the stock pos cable but bought a longer neg cable. I think it was 4 or 5 ft.

I used some really neat cables in my last swap, they have little top posts for aux connections or jumping, very slick.

The choice of cables depends on where you mount the batttery and what kind of routing you want. On my trunk mount all new cables needed to be used. You can buy nearly any length cable at your local auto store. Just measure up and head to your favorite auto parts store or the junkyard. In the worst case you can cut cables to size and solder the cables to new battery connectors.

I would have used the stock cables, but they would reach up front I really like the battery up there. I use an Optima which is sealed and fairly heavy. It's nice to add a little weight in the front. The SC3800 will already push the front tires in the corners while accelerating.

Just remember on a "performance" orientated swap, anything worth doing is worth overdoing!

I think I used 1/0ga for everything. Oh, and one can't ever have too many grounds. I see too many swaps with a little 12ga body ground and tons of accessories, such as a stereo with an amp that has 4 ga power wire, and it's grounded to the body, using the 12ga for the entire car and the stereo!

Good luck with everything, you'll love it.
