Car is an 88 Formula, auto trans, with tilt wheel. I am in the process of replacing the original four-spoke steering wheel with one from a GT. During the wheel removal I broke the ears off of the turn signal canceling cam where the spring loaded horn thingy pushes in and turns into place. Can anybody tell me where to buy a new one?? Are there any other parts I should replace while I'm in there?? The tilt column hasn't gotten floppy yet so I'm not too far into the column but if there's anything worth changing while I'm in this far then I'll do it.

Also, I have the steering wheel, center hub, and horn button, but apparently I need the plastic piece and spring (that hook into the canceling cam) for the horn contact. The pigtail I have from the paddle-switch wheel won't work. Anyone know where I can get one of these as well??

Thanks in advance,
Chris

You can buy the canceling cam in the HELP section of any parts store.

I need to replace mine but I'm to busy to take the steering wheel off.

Oh and when I upgraded to the GT type steering wheel, I used the same horn pin, I just soldered the wire onto a metal part of the horn button. It's been working like that for 5 years.

Here is the "Help" part number, you should be able to find a plunger and spring in the Mall.

I did the same steering wheel switch myself, uploaded a bunch of snapshots to my photo-page online for reference.
