I got my humount kit today, Not exactly what I was expecting but cool none the less. Let me clarify that statement, I was expecting more mounting and not just a face plate. But hey I can deal with it. What mounting kit have people used to get the head unit to sit back far enough?? I searched for an install thread but all I found were issues dealing with the lights but I got that covered.

Is the metra 99-4544 kit the one best to use?

I just installed one two weeks ago and had the same thought. Actually, when it first arrived in the mail, I was thinking that it was incredibly over priced. After you take out the old radio, it installs easily. Now that I have it in my car, I am very impressed with the quality of the product. I am very happy with it and would use them again.
