Ok i have read about tachs jumping dropping dead and such before posting this via search and it seemed like most of them were curred with a simple tach filter. But with mine it doesn't want to jump high usually just not read at all or bounce a bit. This happened before and i put another ground cable on my car and it seemed to fix it. Well its back. One thing it doesn't have all the time and seems to happen more when the weather is warm and the car has ran about 5-10 mins. But after about 30 mins of driving it starts working again. This is a lot of strange. This is a SBC fiero so could I goto autozone and pick up a cheap aftermarket tach and hook it straight to the tach wire and see if that fixes it? IM just lost im thinking the tach is an issue but i cant tell if its that or something in the wiring. BTW the fan runs all the time too ALL new sending units but im going to check them could it be related? Thanks for the help.
