I am wondering why people always reinstalle the 2.8 intakes, when they do the 3.4 swap (Camaro/Firebird)

The 3.4 intakes should be more adapted to the larger air needs of the 3.4 than the 2.8 are. Are they ?

What is wrong with the 3.4 intakes ? (other than appearance)

They dont fit. unless you rip out the distributor and change over to DIS. which is a lot of work.

Though we don't market them anywhere, we make and have sold intakes for the F-bodies because even that version dont flow very good. There's picture of a customer's really nicely done 3.4 engine compartment in an F-bird on our site.
