as stated in the subject line...the previous owner (unknown) repainted the car and painted right over these. i would like to get them off to clean them up but am unsure how. i don't want to ruin them, do they just 'pop' off or what?? any help would be greatly appreciated!

They have two cap nuts on the top that are next to impossible to get to unless you drop the bumper. Not a hard thing to do, just takes a little time.

ya, the heat sheilds for the tips...sounds like fun, maybe i'll try and clean them up without removing them. thanks
