Im trying to install an aftermarket cd player into my 85 and im having some problems getting it to work right. If anyone has a wiring diagram for the radio or can tell me where to find one I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

My Haynes manual (isbn 1 85010 616 9) has a good one on page 12-26, but I don't have access to a scanner.

Here is the wiring that goes between stock GM and aftermarket radio's and their color codes:
http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/GM-Wiring.pdf

Fiero's use the top one and newer cars use the bottom one.
(It is also useful if you are installing a newer radio into an older GM.)

I used the back of the radio last weekend, but it is nicer to have the sheet. When ever I wire any project, I check each wire color twice before I solder, and once after. Then I take a long break, like in over night, and check every wire again.
