I'm in the process of ordering some new exhaust parts for my truck and decided to order a new gatorback for red. So does anybody have a part number for an 85 2.8 alt/wp/crk belt with power pulley and R/D idler pulley?

Well did my own research and original belt for 2.8/3.4 with power pulley and R/D idler pulley is a Dayco 5050440. A gatorback is a 4050440. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Hmmm... I got a different number for the gatorback belt:

That's what I'm running now on my '88, they should be the same all years.

The original belt is the one that came with Rodney Dickman's idler pulley kit for engines with a power pulley, just trying to clear up any misunderstandings.
