My '84 Indy has the original stock muffler with two outlet exhaust pipes on either side of the car. The current muffler looks real similar to the one used on the 6 cyliner cars with the two outlets and one inlet pipe. Is anyone aware of a source for a proper replacement muffler? Will a 6 cylinder muffler sub ok without a lot of pipe bending?

I believe the Indy exhaust is the same as the V6 exhaust on later years. Most exhaust websites only list a 4-cylinder and V6 exhaust - nothing separate for the Indy 4-cylinder.

Thanks for the suggestion. I received a similar response from the Fiero Store. They say the 6 cylinder exhaust from the cat back is the same exhaust system uesd on the Indy car in '84.
