Just like it says my 85' Fiero GT wanders around the road. As long as I can remember it has done it but it is getting annoying. One minute it will pull slightly to the left then ill turn or brake or something small like that and it will pull a little to the right afer. It isn't that bad of a pull but like I said, annoying. Could the problem be the stabilizer on the steering rack? I am not sure what that exactly does. Any help appreciated. Thanks

The steering dampener is to take some of the shock out of your hands when you hit a bump. The wandering can be caused by low tire pressure, the thread pattern of your tires, worn suspension parts, or a misalignment of your wheels.

If you've it alienged, it could also be lose bolts on your on the rear assembly that hold the shocks and springs, the 4 big ones.

many thing can be causing what your feeling.
but - most of them are in the rear end.
bad cradle bushings - or maybe even broken cradle bolt - or even cracked/broken cradle
bad a-arm bushings
sloppy struts - which is very likely
loose axle nut
alignment
tire condition
rear tie-rod ends
rear balljoint

but - my bet is: really bad rear strut + poor alignment

what i came across on my 87 coupe was a cracked pinion gear bearing, and
a bad rack bushing. the pinion gear gets no grease unless grease fitting holes are drilled. also check to see if the front cradle bolts are tight.
