Fellas,
I want to know if there is problem with running 17 inch tire on the front and 18 inch tire on the rear? Has this been done? Any problem with handling? I think it would be cool looking. Any ideas?

Cordially,
Kevin

The size is not a problem. It depends on the width and offset. As long as that is good the staggared diameters aren't really a consideration. Hope this helps.

EDIT: And yes, it has been done before. Many times.

what would be the widest tire you can put on the back with out rubbing into things?
i found a nice set of rims i would like to buy. and you can get difference widths from 17x8.5 17x9 17x9.5 17x10. would a 17x.9.5 fit for the rear?
i believe you can get 17x8s for the front. i dont want to go to wide upfront.

Fellas,
I have 235/40/17's on my SE now on all four wheesls. Not rubbing now. So my question: I want to put 245/40/18's on the year. Has anybody got input on this application? Pic's always welcome.

Cordially,
Kevin
