I am going to be relocating the C500 connector on my car due to it starting to have melting issues and it being an 84 and I have read that you need to move them so you dont melt them entirely when you install a V6 which is the next step.

My question is how do you remove them? I dont want to break them and I dont see any real simple way of getting them apart, is there a trick?

Un bolt the connector from the firewall then physically move it toward the driver's side and either cut off the old mount plate and reweld it in place or mount it to the plate that holds the relays and move the relays further over. All you need tol do is move it far enough to the one side to clear the exhaust manifolds. There is a few photos in the link nelow my sig that show it moved. Dan
