is it 3.8?

Are they different sizes on different generation SC's?

I've seen some poeple have 3.4 , 3.25 or 3.0...could someone explain to me what these are exactly;
are they smaller, faster rotation pulleys?

if i have this correct, what's the smallest it can be changed to on a stock L67?
What are the consequences, if any of doing this?

3.8 is the stock size. Check out zzperformance.com, they have all sorts of performance mods for the L67 and some info on what you need to run smaller size pulleys. If I'm not mistaken, you can run a 3.5 on a stock engine. I'm using a 3.4 on my 88 L67 swap, and you have to do some small mods to support it, such as a colder thermostat, a cold-air intake, and some exhaust mods (on the W-body cars). Clubgp.com has a lot of info there as well, but there is a lot of stuff out there for the L67!

3.8 is the stock pulley size.
Yes there is a differance in pulleys for the differant Gens.
The smaller the pulley the more boost because the SC is spinning faster. But you cant throw a 3.0 pulley on a car without supporting MODs unless you want to POP a piston. With most Fiero swaps, you can run a 3.4 with just a good exhaust, intake and tune.
Pulleys go all the way down to 2.55
If you run a small pulley without the right MODs then you POP a piston and will be replacing you motor.
