Just wondering if anyone knows where you can buy Ferrari 355 replica mirrors. I've been searching online the only place I've found was B and B spyder site, they had fixed mount replica mirrors included in the kit. Just trying to find a place that I can order only the mirrors.
This might work:1997-2003 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX Mirrors If you don't like this style, then your just going to have to walk through the wrecking yard untill you find something that you like.

That's nice in knowing the mount point swivels and is beneficial in preventing accidents during parking or confined areas.

$325 for the shells and $475 with glass and motors !!!!!!????? for TWO side mirrors .......
HI all
I know it sounds expensive, and I myself have never priced OEM 355 mirrors but when you consider that 348 side mirrors are $3600 for one, and IIRC, there was someone selling the real deals on that very same website for $1000 for both, and that was considered a deal. Though the second half of my argument might be conjecture, they are good mirrors if you did your research..... There are a few guys on that website who praise his products and his delivery ethics... In the end, to each their own I guess.. Lol, sorry for my rant, I stayed up lastnight to do homework, long story, but the PC I was workin on broke.......

Today they are called garage's, yesterday, they were stable's! Eric Jacobsen....

They look great from what I can see, and I have to agree with Madcurl on the swivels. I was looking at '94 Corolla mirrors and having to make new bases to fit right, they would be solid. Might make up a pair just for the hell of it though.
If your calling BS, then I'm calling lying by omission. What you failed to mention is that 355 is burned/melted and has a busted mirror glass. 355 OEM mirror are almost never found for less the $1500 a pair, and normally retail used for around $1000 a side. Believe me I looked for them for the last 5 years.

Look at the pics ! Doesn't look melted to me !! The Testarossa Mirror is BRAND NEW ! You gonna say the 355 mirror isn't worth $380 + a little effort to fix up (whatever the "damage" is !?) 348 mirrors for $3600 EACH - I DOUBT IT (but really don't care).
My point is that REAL ferrari mirrors can be had for a LOT less than stated. How can you even compare OEM Ferrari mirrors with home-made fiberglass ? But if you wanna defend the BS and / or pay $500 for mirrors someone from the Kit Car Forum is likely making in their backyard (OR Anything else) BE MY GUEST. if i wanna fight and argue, i only have to open my front door, not go on the internet. i was just trying to help and someone should be THANKING me for giving info that might save them from being ripped off. i made NO claims or statements about the mirrors, just pasted the auctions to show what is available OEM from a 5 min. search on eBay.
"lying by omission" - Oh BROTHER !!!! I'm through providing anything else i know about this topic ....

I'm not trying to fight with you, but you posted that other people on this thread were "BS"ing and that simply was not the case. Just filling in the areas that were left out. I will end it at that.

I bought a set of the replica 355 mirrors from sactodreamer(Rob) and I have to say the mirrors are excellent. I test fitted them to the car to see what I had to do to make sure everything fit properly. Every replica tends to be a bit different fit and finish, but I had to do pretty much NOTHING to have these sit in the proper place and look great.
I had to trim some fiberglass on one of my doors as I had filled in too much when I was rebuilding the door panel to my specifications.
The replica mirrors are well worth the money HTXtremes as you will end up having to fit, cut, fit, trim, fit, swear, fit, trim.... you get my point. I've been there before buying Rob's mirrors.
My opinion only.
Thanks Don

You might go to www.kitcar.ca and ask on their forum for contact info for a man named John Watson. He owned Air Dynamics and according to their forum, produced one of, if not the best, F355 rebodies. He's located in North Georgia.
The kit was known as the AD355. You will find several threads regarding this car.

When I did my kit, I noticed Dodge Stealth/ Mitsu 3000 mirrors look like they would work. Also Porsche 911. They have about the same body mounting angle. I had a 308 and found replicas of OEM Veteloni (spl) ' flag ' style mirrors at Pep Boys in plastic for $20.
Just for the record, the 3000gt and Stealth mirrors are the same as early and mid 90's dodge vipers. I think they would look nice, but don't sweep out far enough to be too similar to the f355
John Watson does not sell mirrors. I spend years looking for mirrors and could not find them cheep. I ended getting some fiberglass mirrors from Ron and they look great were the cheapest solution I could find.

They look big even on 3S's. I'm sure they'd look too big on anything Fiero based.

I'm the person selling the 355 mirrors on the kitcar forum. I appreciate the good words from 355fiero and Brastic. For the record, the mirror housing are not made by myself. The manufacture is very reputable, however he builds a lot of parts for real exotic owners and feels it would be bad for his business if word got out he was making these for me. I provided the broken real 355 mirrors I had to the manufacture for molds. Then I designed the mounting brackets and remaining parts to assemble complete mirrors. It's true, I'm not a business man, I just needed mirrors for myself and knew others on my forum needed them also. I'm not in this for the money, believe me! With all of the running around to get parts and building the brackets.......it's not a money maker.
I've shipped two sets of my mirrors to John for his kits and he has given them good reviews.

My AD355 was painted last Tuesday. Once the car is put back together and color sanded, I will be picking it up. When I do, I will take some pictures and post it here.
