Google and Fierosearch turned up nothing, but on the cover of Accel's 2004 catalog was a yellow Pontiac Fiero setup for drag. There was a hood scoop on the front, so I assume a front engine conversion?

Does anyone have any actual info on this car?

this may not be much help because it's not there anymore but about a year ago (or more) i came across a yellow 86-88 GT that was set up to drag (front engine/rear drive) on www.cars-on-line.com. the guy wanted a pretty penny for it so i didn't pay too much attention. like i said, it's not there anymore so i don't know how much help i am.

That might of been it, it was an 86-88 Fastback GT. It had a torpedo-style hood scoop mounted on the front. A monster tach was visible through the windshield, as well as the single race seat and roll cage.
