this is a 1987 2.5 auto

sometimes I get smoke from the engine compartment, it seems to be coming from the exhaust manifold I think I have a oil leak coming from the seal on the valve cover
there is oil on the first two or three spark plugs. I am thinking that I just need to redo the rtv seal ?
if I take the valve cover off is it as simple as it looks, just the bolts around the bottom?

Probably be a little easier if you remove the egr too. Tap the valve cover with a rubber mallet, nice and easy until it comes free.

Fel-pro makes a real good gasket that will stop the leak, its about 20 bucks, but then all of that problem is over and done with.

I would think it would be easyer if you removed the intake manifold.
