I am fabbing 33" custom headers into true duals for my 2.8 project engine.
There is very little room on the rear bank for muffling sound and I don't want the car to be obnoxious for my neighbours.
So, designing the sound suppression while maintaining a good flow is tricky. What I need to know is my starting point. The DB's of sound at the headers, before sound suppression. That will allow me to know how much sound suppression I need.
Has anybody done a sound check on open headers or know from reading?
