Ok. I'm rebuilding the passenger headlight, and I can't get the gear out.
I've seen some small amounts of info about it.

Something about springs?

How do I get this friggen thing out? I've been fiddling with it for about half an hour. I don't
want to break anything.

Sorry if this has been answered before. I need this done ASAP and I just can't find anything in the
archives.

Anyone help me out?

I just did this, some folks say you can get them out, I had to take the motor apart. You'll have to take the nut off of the shaft, take the bolts out of the motor cover, and carefully take it apart. Assemble in reverse........... Use some string to hold the brushes in, put a dab of grease on the shaft to hold the roller ball in place. After you geet it all together you will have to adjust the thrust nut. I had a hell of time getting my motors to work right until I adjusted the nut. Scott
