Ok, I've gotten myself in over my head a little. I completely removed the wiring harness from inside the car. I have a 3800 na motor installed and loyde wired that up for me and it works great. My prblem is that I added so many other electrical items and had to splice into the fiero harness in so many places I didn't like the way it looked so I removed the entire harnes and I would like to start over with a 21 circut ez wiring harness. My 1rst ? is the connector that connects to the pass side of the rear firewall in the center there. It's a grey connector that looks like it was glue shut,

How do i remove the part of the harness?
Should I even remove it or just cut all the wires and figure out which ones i need for the 3800.

Does anyone have a diaghram of these wires to know exactly what they are and what they do?

The two pastic pieces that the wires goe through on the firewall are not actually connectors they are more of a sleeve to insulate the wires and sealed up to keep fumes out. To remove them slide the little plastic clip out the side, the driver's side one is inside the engine bay. With the clip out just push in the tab and carefully pull the harness through the firewall. These pieces can be taken apat by carefully cutting through the glue used to seal it up and then seperate into two pieces. Then just put it all back together when you are finished your harness and fill it with apoxy or seam seal or even silicone will work. Dan

The actual name for these are Bulkheads. I found that using a little heat, from a hair dryer makes these bulkheads FAR more easier to dissassemble. The glue that is used inside them is low temp hot glue.
