I had a problem with my 84 and slow starting when I got it. It turned out to be the computer was not sending the fuel pump the signal to start. However the car would start after the car cranked long enough to build up enough oil pressure to make the oil pressure light go off. This is the back up system to allow the car to start and run if the fuel pump relay fails.
Will the car start if you crank it long enough to turn the oil pressure light off. Will it start and run if you pour a bit of gas in the throttle body or will it run a bit and die out? You could have a problem with the ignition module not sending the start signal to the computer or the fuel pump may be bad. Terminal G on the ALCS is the test connection for the fuel pump. If you apply battery voltage to it that should turn the pump on. If not the fuel pump will be bad.

If you want to find out if it's fuel related, spray a little fuel into the intake and see if it fires right up,(but use caution have a garden hose or extinguisher handy.)If it fires right up then it's either your fuel pump or fuel pump fuse.If it doesn't fire right up then it's probubley spark related.Your going to need a battery charger, dont let your battery sit too long with out a charge or you'll never be able to charge it again (it's called memorey and you will have killed the battery).
