putting a supercharger on an L36 is quite a feat. You will spend more supercharging it, than just buying an L67 in the first place. Of course your other thread indicates you want to go turbo. I would recommend doing just that, but upgrading the rods and pistons to at least those from a stock L67.

Then converting to ethanol wont be a problem. Its all in the fueling. You will need larger injectors, a larger fuel pump, and a computer programmed for the extra fuel you will need.

On a side note, one of my best friends is doing the electrical work on the new ethanol plant going up in Liberal right now.

Get a hold of me, my shop will be open before the end of the year (hopefully).

if you are going ethanol, i would turbo it instead.. with ethanol, because of it's lower detonation properties compared to gasoline, you can run higher compression pistons, and higher boost than normal, higher advanced timing, more fuel, etc..

Fiero X, Thats cool.....I actually make my own ethanol, and it's about @ 105 octane right now....But I was wanting to be sure that I could use ethanol with a engine that is supercharged or turboed.
