Yes, the good news is you don't need any information about transmissions or the title to determine the year of that Fiero or any other Fiero. The
10th digit of the Fiero's 17-digit VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) visible on the driver's side of the dashboard designates the model year:
- E = 1984
- F = 1985
- G = 1986
- H = 1987
- J = 1988
Incidentally, the
5th digit of the VIN designates the model of Fiero it was:
- E = Base Coupe
- M = Sport Coupe
- F = S/E
- G = GT
