I have an 87 duke 5 speed coupe with a bad motor. I picked up a free 88 auto duke motor. Is there any reason I can't bolt an 87 duke flywheel to an 88 auto duke? I just wondered if the motors are balanced different.

sorry i cant help you with the differences, but if there are, ive got a flywheel with less than 50 miles on it from a 88 coupe, $25+ shipping.
it was removed for engine swap.

might wanna goto www.partsamerica.com select a 87 and a 88 coupe and see if the flywheels have different part numbers, that might shed some light.

Thanks Mosh_man PartsAmerica said the flywheels were the same. If I end up needing an 88 wheel I will let you know.
