Just noticed my radio display dims considerably when I turn the headlights on. I'm certain this is a ground thing, but does anyone know if there is a ground for the lights and if so where is it located? Also my right turn signal arrow is dim. Any help will be appreciated.

Check the ground wire off the battery Neg to the fender. There is also a ground wire off the transmission to the left frame rail.
Then there are ground screws on the inner fender next to the headlight buckets where the all the lights ground. Look down between the headlight bucket and the fender.

The radio display light is supposed to dim when the headlights are turned on I think. They do on mine, and my Ford truck too.

Oops yes that is right the radio does dim with the lights, the turn signal indicator could be a dirty or weak blub or dirty socket connection.

What is the logic behind dimming the radio display when the lights come on? I mean I hope you're right because that would eliminate one problem on my list.
